Delete your Nibld account

You can delete your Nibld account yourself in the app, or ask us to delete it if you cannot reach the app. This page is public, you do not need to sign in to read it.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open Nibld and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and choose Delete account.
  4. Confirm. The deletion is carried out when you confirm it.

Deletion cannot be undone. Your active account and your ordinary account data are removed when the deletion runs. A few documented categories listed below remain for their defined retention periods, and anonymous statistics that can no longer be connected to you may remain. Download your data first if you want a copy.

If you cannot use the app

Write to us from the email address on the account and ask for deletion. We verify that the request comes from the account holder before we delete anything, and we answer within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your account and login, including Google or Apple sign-in links.
  • Your profile, username, profile photo, date of birth, gender and settings.
  • Your posts, ratings, images, comments, likes, saves, stories and lists.
  • Your messages, chat attachments and group memberships.
  • Your Nibld AI conversations and recommendation history.
  • Your food profile and learned preferences.
  • Your push notification tokens, so the device stops receiving notifications.
  • Your uploaded files in the photo, post, chat and restaurant media storage.

What we may keep, and for how long

  • Restaurant verification documents you uploaded for a business claim: 24 months from upload, as evidence for the claim.
  • Restaurant claim records after a claim is closed: 24 months, after which the personal contact fields are erased.
  • Moderation and safety records where a measure was taken: up to 24 months, so a decision can be reviewed and appealed.
  • Security event logs: 12 months, to detect and investigate abuse.
  • Accounting records where a purchase was made: as long as accounting law requires.
  • Anonymous statistics that can no longer be connected to you.

Nothing in this list can be used to restore your account or to identify you in the product.

Get a copy first

In Settings you can download a copy of your data as a ZIP file before you delete the account. Once the account is gone we cannot produce the export.
